VENDOR REGISTRATION
Vendors register for Convention by becoming an exhibitor or sponsor. CAOC defines a vendor as ‘a company, or representative from said company, who provides products or services to attorneys,’ even if they are also attorneys. If you are an attorney vendor and want to register to receive MCLE, you must first be an exhibitor or sponsor, and a verified affiliate member. Vendors who are not attorneys are not allowed in the educational session rooms, but will be admitted to the exhibitor space, receptions, and parties listed in the program.
Vendors who are also an attorney can register to attend educational sessions and receive MCLE as long as their company is both:
• A CAOC Affiliate Member, and
• A sponsor or exhibitor of the event.
Sponsorships do not include registrations for MCLE, but some levels of sponsorship do include one or more attending representatives. “Sponsor Representatives” may attend open events but may not attend the MCLE sessions and do not receive MCLE credits. You must register separately to attend MCLE sessions and receive MCLE credits. Contact Wendy Murphy wendy@caoc.org for more information.
Sponsors and registrants are warned that pitching their services while in the education session rooms violates CAOC’s Code of Conduct. Anyone caught violating this policy will be asked to leave the event.
