Summary
Seniors are frequently targeted for fraud by unscrupulous financial advisors. This presentation will illustrate various types of fraud perpetrated against seniors, with a focus on insurance and annuity–related investment scams. Tips for identifying investment fraud, avoiding becoming a victim, and successful referral to litigators who can pursue damages in civil court will be discussed.
