“Consumer groups often feel like David fighting the corporate Goliaths. Winning justice for consumers is an uphill battle, and the role that consumer attorneys play through the civil justice system is crucial. Consumer groups need the support of the Consumer Attorneys Public Interest Foundation – this support helps us empower our constituency so that we can all fight for consumers. Together, we have worked against dangerous tort reform legislation and initiatives. Your help will ensure that we can continue the battle for consumer justice.”

-Richard Holober, Executive Director, Consumer Federation of California

YOUR CONSUMER ATTORNEYS NON-PROFIT, DEDUCTIBLE, PUBLIC INTEREST FOUNDATION DONATION

The Consumer Attorneys Public Interest Foundation (CAPIF) plays a crucial role in supporting groups that work with CAOC in the Legislature. We cannot be effective in the Capitol nor in the public without our allies in the consumer, environmental, product safety and minority outreach communities. CAPIF donates only to nonprofits, and each donation goes towards our consumer advocacy.

CAPIF has supported a host of worthy groups and legislative non-profit caucuses (Women’s Caucus, Black and API Caucuses, LGTBQ+ Caucus, etc.) that share our values of protecting the civil justice system and promoting consumer rights. Through our partnership with such groups, CAOC has strengthened its presence in the Capitol as a powerful force in the fight to preserve legal rights. Through these efforts, we have been able to demonstrate to our natural allies that we are committed to serving public causes both professionally and financially. Most importantly, we have been able to help important groups carry out crucial programs.

CAPIF’s ongoing success is due to your support. Your CAPIF donation may not be used for ongoing CAOC activities. A full 100 percent of every dollar you give with the enclosed membership dues statement is used to support public interest causes. (501c3 tax id#20-2770949)

We hope you agree that the goals of CAPIF are deserving of your economic support. We urge you to renew your membership and your commitment to the causes supported by your CAPIF donation.

Thank you for your support.
