CAOC’s advocacy team works in the State Capitol in Sacramento to protect your practice, your clients, and the rights and safety of California consumers. Your membership makes it possible to advance pro-consumer legislation and defeat tort reformer that would restrict consumer rights.

  • CAOC offers online seminars featuring California’s premiere plaintiffs’ attorneys to meet your CLE requirements, expand your legal knowledge and learn effective trial techniques.
  • Membership includes a subscription to FORUM magazine, with scholarly articles, legal updates and practice-building tips.

Plaintiff attorney application - Regular and Sustaining members are described as California attorneys primarily engaged in the representation of consumers who have been injured in person or property or whose constitutional or other legal rights are jeopardized and whose caseload consists of at least 60% plaintiff representation.

Out of State application  - Plaintiff attorneys whose primary practice is not in California.

Defense attorney application  - Associate members are attorneys who are engaged primarily in the defense of personal injury or workers' compensation litigation or in the prosecution of criminal cases.

Paralegal/Clerk/Secretary application - Any person dedicated to the promotion of the administration of justice and employed by an attorney member of the Consumer Attorneys of California.

Law Students application - For students currently attending law school.

Vendor application - For businesses that provide support and technical services to our attorney members.
