SACRAMENTO– CAOC President Elise Sanguinetti provides a two-minute video rundown of what’s at stake this year for consumer justice in the state Capitol. Among the bills being sponsored by Consumer Attorneys of California is a series of measures to help citizens deal with forced arbitration clauses that deny a constitutional right: Their day in court. CAOC is also backing a bill to ensure fair compensation for undocumented persons injured through no fault of their own and another measure requiring doctors to use the state’s lifesaving prescription drug database.    Watch
