2011 Consumer Attorney of the Year
Nomination deadline July 1, 2011

Every year, Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) recognizes one distinguished member attorney who, in representing his or her clients on a daily basis, has overcome incredible odds to provide justice to victims, and has established precedent that will make a difference in the lives of Californians. The Consumer Attorney of the Year Award will honor a plaintiff attorney who has achieved a significant result in a case that reached final resolution between May 15, 2010, and May 15, 2011, and has assisted consumers or changes consumer law for the better in the State of California.

2011 Street Fighter of the Year
Nomination deadline July 15, 2011

We are also pleased to present the Street Fighter of the Year Award, which will exemplify the everyday struggle of the small practitioner in California and will highlight the efforts of one plaintiff attorney who, through the practice of law, has helped to create a more just society regardless of profit or personal benefit. NEW CRITERIA FOR 2011: The nominee must be an attorney practicing 10 years or less, OR work in a firm with 5 or fewer attorneys.

These awards will be presented during CAOC's Annual Installation and Awards Dinner, November 12, 2011, at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. The dinner is held in conjunction with CAOC's 50th Annual Convention.

We ask that you take a moment to nominate CAOC members you feel are deserving of these awards. After the nominations are closed, the Awards Committee will collect additional information about the nominees and select finalists for the awards.

Please plan to join us, and support your nominee, on November 12, 2011, at the Annual Installation and Awards Dinner.
