By Larry Knapp, Seminar Chair

Greetings from the hinterland. On April 4, in Stockton at the Valley Brewery, Craig Needham and Thornton Davidson did a fabulous job covering all of the 2007 and some of the 2008 cases in their popular presentation “What’s New In Tort & Trial Seminar.” This is part of the continuing effort of the Consumer Attorneys of California and San Joaquin County Trial lawyers Association to bring cutting edge educational opportunities to lawyers in the Wild West region of our state, San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties.

Craig’s team has spent a tremendous amount of time and effort in reviewing all of these cases and providing this valuable resource for all who attended. The seminar room was packed with lawyers from all over the area taking advantage of the opportunity to review the latest cases with these scholars. Invariably someone always hears about a case that can be put into use in one of their own matters.

Please watch for the 2008 program as this is a seminar that you do not want to miss. If there is a topic or speaker that you would like us to offer, please contact Lori Sarracino, Education Director, at lori@caoc.org.
